Puppy Grooming

Introducing puppies to the grooming process is absolutely vital to ensure they can have a calm experience at the groomer. A well behaved dog gets a much nicer haircut than a scared or over excited wiggly one! We offer a puppy intro completely free of charge for dogs under 6 months of age. Ideally as soon as the vet has cleared them to be outside after their second vaccines - this doesn't include any washing, nail clipping or haircutting. The purpose of this visit is to come and meet the groomer, the salons sights and smells and to associate coming here with lovely things. We turn on the drier, water, clippers and give treats/toys to help them feel comfortable.

Puppy grooms are £30, this includes a bath, dry, paw-pad clip, nail trim if necessary and a face trim if applicable (so they can see). We can do 2-3 of these to ensure your puppy is very used to the prep process before moving up to proper haircuts. Their first grown up haircut generally does't look the best as puppy coats tend to be very staticky and puppies run out of patience. Expect it to take a few grooming sessions to get the haircut you'd like, we go at the puppies pace. The cost of this will be breed dependent. For cockapoos, Cavapoos and other small-medium breeds the cost is £50
