EMMI-PET ULTRASONIC TEETH CLEANING

  • Emmi-pet ultrasonic teeth cleaning is a gentle, noise free and vibration free way to break down tartar and plaque from dogs teeth. This service is a preventative measure and does not by any means replace proper veterinary cleaning. 

  • It IS suitable for dogs with minimal build up on their teeth, with healthy gums and no visible rotten teeth. 

  • It is NOT suitable for dogs with gingivitis, red gums, wobbly or plaque covered teeth. 

  • Having this treatment does not guarantee that your dog will never need veterinary dental cleaning, if done regularly it will reduce the chance that they will need any extractions

  • It is NOT a quick fix, there are posts online from other groomers of amazing before and afters in one session, this is absolutely not realistic. It can take a few regular sessions to get the teeth to a clean state.

  • The service starts at £12 and goes up to £20 with a groom (can go up depending on condition of the teeth and dogs behaviour), or from £25 separately (this is only offered to current clients who get groomed every 6 weeks at a maximum). The first session you will have to buy their toothbrush head at £8, which should last for 10 plus sessions.

MUD TREATMENTS

  • De-shedding and soothing Mud spa - using a natural mud with bentonite clay, essential oils and other specialized ingredients to help loosen and draw out excess hair from shedding short haired dogs.

Originally developed in Japan, the Nagayu Skin Therapy System consists of a compressed tablet of carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and bicarbonate which is then inserted into a specialised shower head designed to deliver the treatment directly onto the pet's skin. Originating from Nagayu Japan, where people would go and sit in their carbonated hot springs to promote fast healing.
